In this Mixed Medium Art Style, each canvas is completed using 6-20 layers of melted wax to create a unique image, then covered with resin to protect the wax and add a glossy professional finish.

About the artist
I feel blessed to have become a fairly successful Professional Artist, having created a new medium and sold over 200+ melted wax paintings. I have participated in many Art Shows as well as created décor for restaurants and other businesses. I really enjoy custom pieces as they make me think outside the box and push my artistic boundaries at times.
Air Force Veteran of 11 years, Power Generation Management & Artist
I have always had a passion for Art. In school I won several Art Competitions, then joined the Air Force as an Electrical Power Production Generator Mechanic. While in the military I pursued my Art Degree and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Degree. After honorably serving 11 years, I switched over to the Energy Sector as a Civilian where I have been in Power Generation Management in addition to being an Artist.
How Melted wax art began
One evening late at night, after working on an art project with my daughter, I became inspired to melt wax and create images with it. After posting my first wax canvas online in 2017 it became an instant hit. I had created a medium, found my 'niche' and a new favorite painting style.
Over the years with painting with wax, my style has changed and become more detailed, as I started working in different mixed mediums with the wax for added definition.
